It’s only been open since August 4, but here’s a look at what Gunbarrel’s newest restaurant has to offer.

Element Bistro bar
The bottom level has two distinct areas: this bar area near the front, and a more formal dining area with booths, four-tops, and a fireplace near the back of the restaurant.
Element Bistro bar
The bottom-level bar is surrounded by flat-screen TVs, perfect for game-watching or just an after-work drink.
Element Bistro cocktails
The cocktail list covers all bases, but a full bar is available if you’re interested in something off-menu.
Element Bistro beers
Beer and wine are plentiful with this draft and bottle list accompanying cocktails.
Element Bistro Manhattan
The Element Bistro Manhattan is a definite must—Leopold Bros. whiskey and sweet vermouth, best served up.
Element Bistro patio
Outside the restaurant, facing Lookout, is Element Bistro’s patio area. Ultimately, there will be planted flowers and a covered area—very similar to the awning in front of the Hampton Inn & Suites entrance nearby. For now, the roped off area is all that’s available for outdoor seating.
Element Bistro Crab Croquettes
Part of the appeal of Element Bistro is its share plate component. These Crab Croquettes, served with Creole sauce and Dijon aïoli, are perfect for sharing.
Element Bistro Sliders
Many restaurants boast sliders, but most are one-variety beef burgers in miniature. These are a taste of three types of seafood: salmon, seared tuna, and blackened shrimp.

The dessert menu wasn’t published the evening we visited Element Bistro, but on offer were an enormous Chocolate Cake, Key Lime Pie, and Cheesecake.

Also available on the full menu—which is the same for lunch and dinner—are full entrées that run $13-36 (from tacos to Steak Frites), sandwiches, flatbreads, and salads.

Element bistro is open 11am-10am Monday-Saturday, and 11am-9pm on Sunday. More information and menus are available at

Editor’s note: We did not have an opportunity to view the rooftop during our initial visit, but will likely be posting more photos later. Stay tuned.
