As we close out 2017, the Gunbarrel Gazette wanted to take a second to review all of the change and development that’s happened in our once-was quiet neighborhood:

  • Sancho’s Mexican opened, and now offers a new happy hour option plus live music and killer Mexican fare
  • Gunbarrel Center wrapped construction, and introduced three new concepts on “Main Street”: Proto’s Pizza, Bittersweet/Por (opening 2018), and Raglin Market (opening 2018)
  • Apertivo (formerly Kafe Urban), offering a full Mediterranean-themed menu, launched in the Apex 5510 complex
  • Ampersand Coffee opened its doors, serving coffee that supports women empowerment and environmental sustainability
  • Gunbarrel Brewing opened its doors to a beer-hungry neighborhood, and introduced the community’s first holiday market
  • Rush Bowls announced a move to Gunbarrel come to 2018
  • Boulder’s Green Dot Labs announced a new extraction facility coming to the area in 2018
  • Mockingbird Development announced a 2018 project at the corner of Gunpark and Lookout—featuring a food hall, corner library, retail, apartments, and office space
